 Judge (Ret.) Shmuel Bar-Yosef was born in 1966. Holds a B.A degree in Law from Tel Aviv University. He interned at the Tel Aviv District Court and with attorneys Ami Osnat and Yaakov Sidi. From 1995 to 2008, he was a partner at the law firm Sidi, Bar-Yosef & Co. From 2008 to 2014, he headed his own firm, Bar-Yosef & Co. He served as a presiding judge at the disciplinary court in Tel Aviv and was a member of the Ethics Committee of the Bar Association. He lectured for about 13 years in preparatory courses for the Bar Association exams and also gave lectures and training sessions within the Bar Association. Between 2014 and 2024, he served as a judge at the Family Court in Tel Aviv-Yafo. Since November 2024, he has returned to his law firm, focusing primarily on mediation and arbitration.
